The children at St. Michael's school came up with their own definition of what spirituality is. This definition has been adopted by the whole school and some classes have even come up with actions to help them to remember.
Our definition is:
Spirituality is questioning, thinking, believing and reflecting.
We think of spirituality in terms of;
Candle moments - moments of awe, wonder and a time to ask rhetorical questions.
Door moments - moments when we think about the future or thinking about how others may feel.
Window moments - moments when we think about our environment and what is outside the window.
Mirror moments - when we reflect on our own actions, beliefs and thoughts.
Spirituality
